What has Magikstick been up to these past few days? He's been working on his group's powerpoint, that's what...

So I'm finally finished and the result is a very impressive presentation. I was pretty surprised that our slides turned out so well. Our professor seemed very impressed and even complemented us after class. "Was ClassicGap your idea?" he asked. Boy did we put the other group that presented today to shame. Haha. Who's your doddy?

So Saturday was the final big Sandstress outing at Ocean's "P-room". It was the only outing recreational activity I did this weekend so it was fun. I wasn't really feeling the P-room crowd but the peeps made it fun. I headed down with the Sandstress and Sucka; Sucka kept dissing my linty shirt but that's okay... we all know who is the dirty one. ;) Monkey and T-Man joined us after, but only after Monkey was angered by some girl accusing her of cutting in line. Well, that's the P-room crowd for you.. Girls like that, guys on stilts, and old men dancing on bar tables. Good stuff.

Not so good: Sandstress is leaving Thursday :( *tear* Who can ever replace that crazy party girl? Well, there is Monkey...

Couple of movies I wanna watch this week: The Terminal and the Notebook. Hopefully I can squeeze that in some time this week in between studying and work. Hmm.. it's hot. Need ice cream.

I'm a little mole, short and stout. Lame.

I'm really slacking on these posts. It's just been hard to keep up because of the time I needed to do all these papers. @_@ But thank goodness, I'm finally done with the last group paper for Marketing. Now we just have the presentation to worry about...

Here's a quick recap of my week.

Monday
- Was scheduled for a stock shift, but Boss canceled it that day.
- Started on paper, ended up chatting on AIM and falling asleep.

Tuesday
- Swimming (trying to) with Monkey in her pool. Starfish?! Hehe. Anyways, loads o' fun. :)
- Ostrich burger and Dodgeball with Mole. Ostrich burger: dry. Dodgeball: funny. Mole: Short.

Wednesday
- Must not use cash counter at work
- Worked on paper.. fell asleep.

Thursday
- Afternoon with Monkey, working on paper.
- Planned to go to dinner with So Fetch and Oceans with Chai, but ended up finishing up paper.
- Binding the bad boy at Kinko's.
- Mole came along (w/o her dod and sceesors)
- Late-night meal at Wailana's. Mole had chicken cutlets HAHA.
- I should have left Mole at home. She was really delirious @_@

Well, that's it. Gotta head off to school and hand the paper in. Woo-hoo!

Pretty fly for white-trash..

We got our third marketing paper back today.. an A. Close to the A+ paper our group got for paper #2 but we had a "cosmetic" error. Just used the wrong type of graph. Oh well, that makes things much easier for me since I have to edit the old papers before adding them to our final paper. This thing will take up my time for the next few days.. I'm just trying to spread the work throughout the next few days so I don't pull of an all-nighter like the last time.

Again, my plans to hang out with Nars failed on Saturday night, so I ended up going down to Feng Shui with Chai and her friends Waianae and Pimp-pimp. While we were waiting in line, Gummy Bear and her friends stopped by to chat and take
pics. Gummy Bear was drunk already.. but that was only the beginning O_o

Feng Shui can get pretty boring.. if you don't go with a fun crowd. Luckily, Gummy Bear was there to keep us entertained. That girl was falling over and hugging EVERYONE that she knew. At one point, she told CBA Goddess, "You're a marketing major.. Fix my flower!" Haha. Funny shit. I spoke with Gummy Bear the day after and she told me that she was officially giving up on alcohol. We'll see how that one holds up.

I didn't really spend Father's Day yesterday since I had to work at Gap. My family went up to my aunt's house in Mililani in the afternoon and caught "The Terminal" after. (I want to see that one, too) So I ended up just giving my pops a GapDry polo shirt which he seemed to like. (He's pretty picky, too.)

So yeah, my Father's Day "celebration" was with So Fetch. We caught a late night showing of Stepford Wives at Ward. Boy was that movie eerie. The story, the cinematography, the robots, Nicole Kidman... they were all eerie. It was a great movie though. It kinda makes you think, though. Would it take a total brainwashing of the opposite sex to achieve happiness? Is happiness really that superficial? Think about it..

The Sandstress is leaving soon. My "number one" is going to Frisco. :(

Well, the Sandstress festivities continued as today was her official "going away bash" at Magik Island. How can they call it Magik Island when it's so hard to find a parking space for Mr. Magikstick? That's what it takes to find one there at Ala Moana beach park.. plain old magik.

It was a nice afternoon at the park with Sandstress, Monkey, sucka, and company. I joined them mid-afternoon after I got off at the Bank. It was nice just to hang out and chat on a beautiful day at the beach. Played a little trumps with Sprite, Monkey, and King Kam; wow, I remember playing that alot in high school. Good times. I brought this desert from Golden Coin and everyone seemed hesitant to try it. Haha. Of course, King Kam, being Filipino and all, took half the pie. We left just before sunset but after Stan Tha Man and I got attacked by ants. My feet is still itchy! O_o

I'm glad I finally had time to meet up with one of the Sandstress outings. I've always been busy with schoolwork or family things when something was planned. Sandstress has declared Saturday Pirahnna room night. Oh boy. Oceans watch out..

On Thursday, I met So Fetch after class for lunch. We picked up Hawaiian food at Fort Ruger's market (near KCC) and ended up eating it near the Aquarium. So Fetch treated... she called me an expensive date cause I bought a 35 cent slice of haupia. (The slice was a size of a quarter. >_<) After eating our plates, we had a small walk through Waiks, visited So Metro at Coach, and headed back but not before grabbing some ice cream at McD's. It was a nice day out that day, too. Sucked though that I was wearing jeans.. my balls were sweating O_o;;

So Fetch told me today that her dog was put to sleep yesterday. :'( I just played with that dog on Thursday.. But yeah, Lani was old. She looked all frail and weak when I saw her. So Fetch is doing better, though and Lani is in a better place up in doggie heaven. :)

That evening, I finished up my Mkt group's third paper. I took a break some time at night to catch Whole 10 Yards with Mole. Mole was coughin all over the place! You sure those pills are working?! As for the movie, it was funny, but it kinda tried to hard. Kevin Pollack was funny as hell though. "Fook you!"

These are the pics of this display I was working on for the Bank. We had a contest between the branches to decorate the branch to promote our new gift, the hammock chair. We found out though that we didn't win. Kapalama branch won cause they put up five of the hammocks up. They had an advantage though: the general services department is at the branch (the guys who do the labor). They had their help and their equipment in their favor. They had tall ladders to stand on; we had.. well, just me. What the fook?!

DETROIT. CHAMPS. WOO-HOO!! Lakers were outplayed and the Pistons proved that they are the better team. Congratulations Motor City!

I still haven't gotten rid of this cold. Every time I think I'm getting better, I end up feeling worse. :( The ugly and humid weather doesn't make things easier and the A/C going full blast at work doesn't help either. My sickness has been affecting my mood, as well; I just don't have the energy to do or want to do anything. I'm easily irritated and I feel incredibly weak. I apologize to anyone who I've blown up on...

Well, nothing much has happened in these past few days. I've just been dragging myself to school and work and trying to find time to rest in between. We had two group papers due this week and so I've been working on that. Our hard work paid off: we completed a "flawless" A+ paper. :D I had planned to finish up our paper last night but I didn't get my group member's parts till late in the night and by then, I fell asleep. O_o I'll try to finish it up early in the evening so it's out of the way.

At the bank, I have two new coworkers. Finally, we get some much needed help. We've been hit hard with being shorthanded after the recent departures of a couple of people. Even help from the relief pool hasn't helped us. But thankfully, our branch finally hired some tellers so work will be much easier. We do have a tough week, though, next week since the two new hires will be at teller school and Ma-bell will be on vacation. I wonder how next week will turn out...

This mini-cold I had since Sunday just won't go away. :( I thought it was going away, but it somehow got worse after Thursday night. I guess alcohol didn't make the situation any better. :P

Speaking of Thursday night, Doo-Doo Girl told me that I had the night off so I was able to partake in the weekly tradition of Ocean's. Chai and Big Tony picked me up really early to avoid the lines being that Friday was a state holiday. Who the hell goes clubbing at 7:30? Well, I guess it was a good idea that we went cause a line formed soon after we got there. O_o

It was a fun night at Oceans. Got to hang out quite a bit with Faye, Gummy Bear (aka Sheryl2004), and their friends. T-Dawg and Chai's friends were there, too, along with CBA Goddess. Later on in the night, I saw Monkey, Sucka, and Sandstress. Here's some highlights:

- Chai, Big Tony, and I bought half-price pupus (woo-hoo!)
- Unsuccessful in getting T-Man inside because of the dickhead bouncer. Sorry bro.
- Was very curious to try Guinness (Big Tony told me it taste like coffee) but ended up not getting it :P
- Rubbed the Pistons victory in Big Mike's face (haha)
- Mingled a bit with Gummy Bear's friends from Longs Mililani (discount?)
- Gummy Bear looked silly as she tried to get her gummy bear from her drink. BTW, what the hell is mama's special?
- Vaguely remember some ass-grabbing as I was waiting for drinks at the bar

The club scene has been good the past few outings, but I still don't plan to do it as much as I did last summer. I don't think my body (and my wallet) can only handle so much :P Although looks like Nars wants to go Oceans next Saturday for her friend's going-away thing so, we'll see about that.

I mentioned rubbing in Detroit's win earlier.. woo-hoo! Go Detroit!

Friday night, I went with Monkey to watch the new Harry Potter movie. Man, I love that movie.. it was certainly the best of the three. It's one of those movies where every little detail factors into the story. Everything ties into the end, so that was pretty cool. Hermione looked kinda cute, too...

Today was just another lazy Saturday. I should really get to work on my paper, but nah. I'll just lie here, with my laptop and kalamansi juice and just chill. Yeah.

So I guess only two people read my blog. That's lame. Oh well, for the two people that read this thing, here's an entry dedicated just to you two :)

Hmm, I caught a mini-cold some time on Sunday night. It got the worst on Monday.. I had to reschedule dinner with So Fetch because I had this bad headache. I went to see Monkey later, though. By the end of the night, I felt better. :) I've still got this cough though. =
I swear, Kalihi has the worst drivers on the island. It's like Manila when I drive down there. I almost got hit twice today, once while I was driving, and the other while I was walking! So yeah, after I picking up Krispy Kreme from Damien, (they had a cheerleading fundraiser) I drove down King when this asshole changes into my lane and nearly sideswipes me. I had to swerve into the next lane just to avoid that fool. Can't you look? And speaking of not looking, this other asshole almost reversed into me as I was walking to work. What's wrong with these drivers?! The city shouldn't focus on Click-it-or-Ticket, they should start a Kalihi Road Safety 101 campaign.

Speaking of work, I got my review today. As I did last year, I got that very manini raise :P I did get an interesting comment though. For "Dependability", I got a score of "I", something to the equivalent of just below requirements/needs improvement. I got marked off for my tardiness (something I'm not proud of) and I got a suggestion from my manager former-manager to get a "battery-operated alarm clock." Haha. Too funny. I did get some high marks though, so I was pleased.

I really am into the Finals right now. I've been watching every minute of every game from tip-off to the final buzzer. It's been a good series so far.. I was so ecstatic that the Pistons took Game 1! Some of those who know me know I absolutely HATE the Lakers. Bleh. I was so mad that they won Game 2. Detroit had it in the bag! But that damn Kobe! He should go to jail already :P

Before I caught the game on Tuesday, I went over to Mole's apartment for lunch. We watched Shaolin Soccer which is no where near as good as Battlefield Baseball (I'm still looking for that movie!) but it was still pretty funny/lame. Speaking of funny/lame, I found Mole's customized 8 oz. Pepsi cans to be pretty amusing. Damn, it's like them small Capri-Sun pouches; you have to have two. Heck, those things were like shots! But for some strange reason, the mini-size is just right for Mole. Well, I guess it's not weird after all, EVERYTHING in her apartment is mini-size, everything except for her lameness. O_o

On Sunday, Sandstress and Sucka took Cheno and I for our [really] belated-birthday dinner. We ate at Brew Moon, which I should say, has very good food. We had some good laughs about Cheno's life in Waipahu and Sandstress' trip to the Vietnamese tea house. Did someone say lingerie?! Haha. Good times.

This evening, after work, I picked up So Fetch and we had dinner at Pietro's. We got a free appetizer and desert from her friend that works there so that was cool. We chatted for quite a bit, mostly about her and her guys... It's weird, the more that I talk to her, the more I start to understand why she does the things she does. (i.e. her "lifestyle") She's one of the most courteous, most sincere people I've met. It's just sad that her "lifestyle" sends off this wrong image of her. Oh well..

Doo-Doo Girl just called me, she said that I might not have to work tomorrow because Lion Mane started windows tonight. Ooh, does this mean I have tomorrow off? *crosses fingers*
